Collective Design is an interior design studio founded in Chengdu in 2016, working across China and Australia.
We design at the meeting point of architecture and everyday life. Where a plan meets the way a person actually moves through a room; where a raw material meets the light of a particular window. That is the register we work in — practical, tactile and quietly considered.
Our work spans two worlds. On the private side: villas, apartments and residences, shaped around the rhythms of a home. On the commercial side: restaurants, offices, retail and hospitality, built to trade and made to last. The sensibility is the same across both — natural materials, honest detail, and rooms that feel resolved rather than decorated.
From Chengdu — one of China's fastest-growing cities — we design and deliver in both China and Australia, working closely with clients and makers in each region so the built result stays true to the drawing.
